Alabama Adopts First Official State Ban on UN Agenda 21

--Virtually no mention of the law was made in the establishment press. But analysts said the measure was likely the strongest protection against the UN scheme passed anywhere in America so far. The law, aimed at protecting private property rights, specifically prevents all state agencies and local governments in Alabama from participating in the global scheme in any way.
"The State of Alabama and all political subdivisions may not adopt or implement policy recommendations that deliberately or inadvertently infringe or restrict private property rights without due process, as may be required by policy recommendations originating in, or traceable to 'Agenda 21,' " the law states, adding a brief background on the UN plan hatched at the 1992 �Earth Summit� in Rio de Janeiro.
The people of Alabama acting through their elected representatives � not UN bureaucrats � have the authority to develop the state�s environmental and development policies, the official synopsis of the law explains. Therefore, infringements on the property rights of citizens linked to �any other international law or ancillary plan of action that contravenes the Constitution of the United States or the Constitution of the State of Alabama� are also prohibited under the new measure.

Judge to feds on citizen detention: I said no!

A federal judge has told the Obama administration that all Americans are protected by her preliminary injunction preventing enforcement of a citizen detention clause in a new federal law supported by Obama.
The federal government had told the judge it concluded that her recent ruling exempted only the named plaintiffs in a lawsuit challenging the constitutionality of the provision.

--One important fact that many tend to gloss over or ignore entirely when it comes to calorie restriction is which type of calories to restrict. From a biological standpoint, the important part is not really how many calories you eat per day; it's about getting the right nutrients. It's important to realize that all calories are NOT created equal, and will not have identical effects your weight or health. Their value depends on the types of food (nutrients) they're attached to.
In the US, six of the top 10 sources of calories are carbohydrates from sugars and grainsiii, and this is a major reason why so many Americans are overweight. They're simply eating far too many sugars. It's very important to restrict carbs when doing a calorie restrictive diet. Your body does not require sugars for optimal health, but it does require protein and fats.
When you cut out the sugars and carbs it is wise to replace them with high quality non-processed fats. Some of my favorites include organic grass-fed raw butter, eggs, coconut oil, avocados, and almonds.
There's very compelling evidence showing that calories from fat are far more beneficial for your health than calories from carbohydrates. And fear not... It's already been well established that stearic acid (found in cocoa and animal fat) has no effect on distorting your healthy cholesterol ratios at all, and actually gets converted in your liver into the monounsaturated fat called oleic acid.

The mainstream news just seems to get sillier and shallower with each passing day. Our world is becoming incredibly unstable, corruption is everywhere, we are on the verge of another massive economic crisis, government debt is absolutely exploding, war could erupt in the Middle East at any time and signs of deep social decay are everywhere and yet the mainstream media seems absolutely obsessed with reporting on celebrities and scandals. It would be nice if the mainstream media would do a lot more true investigative reporting and would actually try to answer some of the difficult questions that we are being faced with. Unfortunately, most of what passes for "news" these days is essentially just "infotainment". That is one of the reasons why we have seen such a surge in the popularity of alternative news outlets in recent years. People are searching for the truth, and they know that they are not getting much of it from the mainstream media these days.
One thing that I enjoy doing is pointing out some of the really silly stories that pass for "news" these days. Let's take a quick look at some of the headlines on the front pages of some of the biggest news sites on the Internet right now....

But pursuant to the standards embraced by President Obama, the brother � without knowing anything about him � is inherently deemed a �combatant� and therefore a legitimate target for death solely by virtue of being a �military-age male in a strike zone.� Of course, killing family members of bombing targets is nothing new for this President...
