The Stephanie Roche Goal ...
It is ironic really that the Goal by Stephanie Roche, which took all of a
couple of seconds to score, has had over a million and a half hits on
youtube to date.
The irony comes in the fact that this goal, although very skillful in and
of itself, will never actually educate or help anyone, yet so many People,
because of hype, PR and marketing have watched the goal. It is just a
few seconds of purile entertainment.
Don't get us wrong, we are not trying to take from Staphanie's ability
as a footballer, or deride her skills, but simply point out how the media
over-hype and over-promote stuff that is primarily of NO value in real
People's lives.
Therefore as a Social Experiment Only!!!
We shall for a period of a Month or so, change the title of the Youtube video
"Structure of Legal Letter --- Lesson One" to "Stephanie Roche Goal: FIFA
Puskas Award 2014 Nominee" … to test and see if the view levels shoot up
(pun intended).
