DHS Official Behind Gun and Ammo Purchasing Calls for White Genocide, Race War
Source: StoryLeak.com
A DHS official whose very role at the agency is to 'procure guns and ammunition', of which the organization has purchased a large number of weapons and billions of rounds, has been openly calling on his black supremacist website for the 'great race war' and the death of white Americans.

war-on-the-horizon-dhsEven the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLW) has acknowledge DHS employee Ayo Kimathi and his website as 'anti-white', which sports the name 'War is on the Horizon' and has been taken down following press coverage. And this is the man who, on record according to the reports, as the man who works primarily on the purchase of guns and ammunition for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Ammunition and weapons that he believes will be used for the coming race war.

COMMENT: So, the Southern Poverty Law Center is reporting on it. This immediately leads me to believe that it has some propaganda value. Then I see that Fox slipped the "unprotected HATE SPEECH" terminology into its report;...and there you have at least one potential angle.

They're really pushing this concept of "hate speech" these days, getting people used to the idea that engaging in this vague and subjective "form" of speech (which will ultimately be judged by government) should not be allowed. As far as I'm concerned, it's just another dangerous power grab. There are already laws against advocating violence...they can fire him for that. (Unless, of course, they WANT HIM doing what he's doing...as another poster wrote, because he's an "agent provocateur.")

Tragedy & Hope Made Easy - Chapter 6 (partial)
Source: JoePlummer.com
The basic argument for granting coercive power to a "government" goes something like this: Dangerous criminals will always exist. If a criminal tries to deceive, rob, rape, murder, assault, enslave, or otherwise violate a person's natural rights, that criminal must be held accountable. (If there is no threat of prosecution or punishment, criminals will do as they please to those who are too weak to resist them.)

The basic argument for reducing or revoking government power logically follows: Dangerous criminals will always exist. If criminals infiltrate government, they will use government power to deceive, rob, rape, murder, assault, enslave, and otherwise violate people's natural rights without accountability. (They will never prosecute and punish themselves. They will do as they please to those who are too weak to resist them.)

The first argument, which implies that government protects us from crime, is ubiquitous and drilled relentlessly into nearly every citizen's head from a very early age. The second argument, which implies government can actually subject us to crime, has practically disappeared from politically correct conversation. But why has it disappeared?  …Whatever danger posed by the common criminal, it pales in comparison to the danger posed by those who rule over us. If there is any doubt, consider the following:

Ron Paul: Bradley Manning Promotes Peace More Than Obama
Source: USnews.com
Army Pfc. Bradley Manning, who is accused of providing an enormous stash of classified government documents to WikiLeaks for publication, deserves a Nobel Peace Prize more than President Barack Obama, according to former Texas Rep. Ron Paul.

"While President Obama was starting and expanding unconstitutional wars overseas, Bradley Manning, whose actions have caused exactly zero deaths, was shining light on the truth behind these wars," the former Republican presidential contender told U.S. News. "It's clear which individual has done more to promote peace."

78 Skills Everyone Should Know
Source: HowToSurviveIt.com
Survival is based largely on two things: a positive mental attitude and knowledge. With those two covered, you can make up for any lack of tools. Knowledge doesn't break, wear out, and short of forgetting a thing or two, you generally can't lose it.

Below, I've compiled a list of skills I think everyone should know. This is by no means a "complete" list because there is always room to learn more, and the more you know, the greater your chances of survival. But this will give you a solid foundation and a far broader skill set than most people. Everyone should know how to:

Former Marine Colonel: 'You're Building A Domestic Army; Are You Blind?'
Source: BusinessInsider.com
In a rousing confrontation at a local council meeting in Concord, NH, he calls out his government for facilitating what he feels is a needless militarization of a domestic force.

And he should know, he helped build one in Iraq.

"We did everything we could to build the Iraqi Army, and I'm telling you right now, the Department of Homeland Security would kick their butts."

"What we're doing here, and let's not kid about it, is we're building a domestic army and shrinking the military because the government is afraid of its own citizens ... "

"The last time 10 terrorists were in the same place at the same time was September 11th, and all these [armored] vehicles wouldn't have prevented it, nor would they have helped anything."

"We're building an Army over here and I can't believe people aren't seeing it, is everybody blind?"

Scientists Reconstruct Brains' Visions Into Digital Video
Source: Gizmodo.com
UC Berkeley scientists have developed a system to capture visual activity in human brains and reconstruct it as digital video clips. Eventually, this process will allow you to record and reconstruct your own dreams on a computer screen.

I just can't believe this is happening for real, but according to Professor Jack Gallant—UC Berkeley neuroscientist and coauthor of the research published today in the journal Current Biology—"this is a major leap toward reconstructing internal imagery. We are opening a window into the movies in our minds."

Indeed, it's mindblowing. I'm simultaneously excited and terrified. This is how it works:

COMMENT: Assuming the technology becomes advanced enough, this might finally kill the "If-you've-got-nothing-to-hide,-you've got-nothing-to-worry-about" argument once and for all. (Forget about government gathering all of your email, social media, and phone info; how about when they can demand access to every thought or experience you've ever had...one hell of a weapon for "chilling" dissent.)

Media Bias Toward National Security Officials
Source: Glenn Greenwald
--In 2006, the New York Times won the Pulitzer Prize for having revealed that the NSA was eavesdropping on Americans without warrants. The reason that was a scandal was because it was illegal under a 30-year-old law that made it a felony, punishable by up to 5 years in prison for each offense, to eavesdrop on Americans without those warrants. Although both the Bush and Obama DOJs ultimately prevented final adjudication by raising claims of secrecy and standing, and the "Look Forward, Not Backward (for powerful elites)" Obama DOJ refused to prosecute the responsible officials, all three federal judges to rule on the substance found that domestic spying to be unconstitutional and in violation of the statute.

The person who secretly implemented that illegal domestic spying program was retired Gen. Michael Hayden, then Bush's NSA director. That's the very same Michael Hayden who is now frequently presented by US television outlets as the authority and expert on the current NSA controversy - all without ever mentioning the central role he played in overseeing that illegal warrantless eavesdropping program.

As Marcy Wheeler noted: "the 2009 Draft NSA IG Report that Snowden leaked [and the Guardian published] provided new details about how Hayden made the final decision to continue the illegal wiretapping program even after DOJ's top lawyers judged it illegal in 2004. Edward Snowden leaked new details of Michael Hayden's crime." The Twitter commentator sysprog3 put it this way:

"Inviting Hayden to comment on regulation of surveillance is like having Bernie Madoff comment on regulation of Wall Street."

But inviting Hayden to do exactly that is what establishment media outlets do continually. Just yesterday, Face the Nation featured Hayden as the premiere guest to speak authoritatively about how trustworthy the NSA is, how safe it keeps us, and how wise President Obama is for insisting that all of its programs continue. As usual, no mention was made of the role he played in secretly implementing an illegal warrantless spying program aimed directly at the American people.

Ron Paul Channel — What a Blast!
Source: LewRockwell.com
--Infuriatingly, we have seen some whining from what Tom Woods so aptly calls the libertarian moochers over the fact that there is a subscription fee to access the Ron Paul Channel. Do people think that television studios and equipment and producers and researchers, etc. grow on trees? That a news source not beholden to the usual military industrial complex related big advertisers should be sustained by pixie dust somehow? The idea that paying the equivalent of one six-pack of beer — two McValue meals — per month to enjoy and support this unique and valuable venture is just too outrageous? Really? It should be free?

Thankfully this is a loud but tiny minority.

COMMENT: Amen!

Plenty of people are willing to scream about how things need to change...but if it requires them to actually reach in their pocket and SUPPORT the men and women doing the WORK (those spending thousands of hours per year on this stuff), they won't part with a dime.

I agree that, at some point, the content Ron Paul produces should be released for wider viewing (and I'm sure it will be.) The problem is, it takes time and money  to produce the content in the first place. If you "support" all the work that Ron Paul has done AND is doing, consider sending him $10 per month. If, after a few months, you're not happy with the quality of the "product," it's easy enough to cancel.

US Military Caught Manipulating Social Media, Running Mass Propaganda Accounts
Source: StoryLeak.com
--"The hack also revealed evidence that Team Themis was developing a "persona management" system — a program, developed at the specific request of the United States Air Force, that allowed one user to control multiple online identities ("sock puppets") for commenting in social media spaces, thus giving the appearance of grass roots support.  The contract was eventually awarded to another private intelligence firm."
