DOJ Will "Let" Washington, Colorado Marijuana Laws Go Into Effect
Source: HuffingtonPost.com
--WASHINGTON -- The United States government took a historic step back from its long-running drug war on Thursday, when Attorney General Eric Holder informed the governors of Washington and Colorado that the Department of Justice would allow the states to create a regime that would regulate and implement the ballot initiatives that legalized the use of marijuana for adults.
A Justice Department official said that Holder told the governors in a joint phone call early Thursday afternoon that the department would take a "trust but verify approach" to the state laws. DOJ is reserving its right to file a preemption lawsuit at a later date, since the states' regulation of marijuana is illegal under the Controlled Substances Act.

COMMENT: ...as if the federal government ever had the constitutional authority to prohibit marijuana use in the first place.

THE CONFIDENTIAL MEMO AT THE HEART OF THE GLOBAL FINANCIAL CRISIS
Source: Greg Palast
--The Treasury official playing the bankers' secret End Game was Larry Summers. Today, Summers is Barack Obama's leading choice for Chairman of the US Federal Reserve, the world's central bank. If the confidential memo is authentic, then Summers shouldn't be serving on the Fed, he should be serving hard time in some dungeon reserved for the criminally insane of the finance world.
The memo is authentic.
I had to fly to Geneva to get confirmation and wangle a meeting with the Secretary General of the World Trade Organisation, Pascal Lamy. Lamy, the Generalissimo of Globalisation, told me,
"The WTO was not created as some dark cabal of multinationals secretly cooking plots against the people... We don't have cigar-smoking, rich, crazy bankers negotiating."
Then I showed him the memo.

WHAT THE MEDIA ISN'T TELLING YOU ABOUT THE SYRIAN CHEMICAL ATTACK
Source: BennSwann.com
--According to CNN, one U.S. officials claims "There is nothing credible to indicate that the rebels, either the Syrian National Council or even al-Nusra Front, have used chemical weapons," the official said. "Only the Assad regime is responsible for chemical weapons use."
But that statement is false. When it comes to this latest incident, at this point we don't know what kind of chemical might have been used. Nor do we know who used it. Some of the claims early on from "unnamed government sources" were that sarin gas was used in that Damascus suburb. The use of sarin gas would point toward the Assad regime, would it not?
Not necessarily. What our national media isn't telling you is that in May Turkish security forces found a 2kg cylinder with sarin gas after searching the homes of Syrian militants from the Al-Qaeda linked Al-Nusra Front. Where did the sarin gas come from? We don't know. But clearly, Al Nusra Front has access to sarin gas and was planning a use for it.

DHS Official Behind Gun and Ammo Purchasing Calls for White Genocide, Race War
Source: StoryLeak.com
A DHS official whose very role at the agency is to 'procure guns and ammunition', of which the organization has purchased a large number of weapons and billions of rounds, has been openly calling on his black supremacist website for the 'great race war' and the death of white Americans.
war-on-the-horizon-dhsEven the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLW) has acknowledge DHS employee Ayo Kimathi and his website as 'anti-white', which sports the name 'War is on the Horizon' and has been taken down following press coverage. And this is the man who, on record according to the reports, as the man who works primarily on the purchase of guns and ammunition for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Ammunition and weapons that he believes will be used for the coming race war.

COMMENT: So, the Southern Poverty Law Center is reporting on it. This immediately leads me to believe that it has some propaganda value. Then I see that Fox slipped the "unprotected HATE SPEECH" terminology into its report;...and there you have at least one potential angle.
They're really pushing this concept of "hate speech" these days, getting people used to the idea that engaging in this vague and subjective "form" of speech (which will ultimately be judged by government) should not be allowed. As far as I'm concerned, it's just another dangerous power grab. There are already laws against advocating violence...they can fire him for that. (Unless, of course, they WANT HIM doing what he's doing...as another poster wrote, because he's an "agent provocateur.")

Tragedy & Hope Made Easy - Chapter 6 (partial)
Source: JoePlummer.com
The basic argument for granting coercive power to a "government" goes something like this: Dangerous criminals will always exist. If a criminal tries to deceive, rob, rape, murder, assault, enslave, or otherwise violate a person's natural rights, that criminal must be held accountable. (If there is no threat of prosecution or punishment, criminals will do as they please to those who are too weak to resist them.)
The basic argument for reducing or revoking government power logically follows: Dangerous criminals will always exist. If criminals infiltrate government, they will use government power to deceive, rob, rape, murder, assault, enslave, and otherwise violate people's natural rights without accountability. (They will never prosecute and punish themselves. They will do as they please to those who are too weak to resist them.)
The first argument, which implies that government protects us from crime, is ubiquitous and drilled relentlessly into nearly every citizen's head from a very early age. The second argument, which implies government can actually subject us to crime, has practically disappeared from politically correct conversation. But why has it disappeared? …Whatever danger posed by the common criminal, it pales in comparison to the danger posed by those who rule over us. If there is any doubt, consider the following:

Ron Paul: Bradley Manning Promotes Peace More Than Obama
Source: USnews.com
Army Pfc. Bradley Manning, who is accused of providing an enormous stash of classified government documents to WikiLeaks for publication, deserves a Nobel Peace Prize more than President Barack Obama, according to former Texas Rep. Ron Paul.
"While President Obama was starting and expanding unconstitutional wars overseas, Bradley Manning, whose actions have caused exactly zero deaths, was shining light on the truth behind these wars," the former Republican presidential contender told U.S. News. "It's clear which individual has done more to promote peace."
