--*The 9/11 Commission chair said the Commission was "set up to fail"
*The Commission's co-chairs said that the CIA (and likely the White House) "obstructed our investigation"
*9/11 Commissioner Bob Kerrey said that "There are ample reasons to suspect that there may be some alternative to what we outlined in our version . . . We didn't have access . . . ."
*9/11 Commissioner Timothy Roemer said "We were extremely frustrated with the false statements we were getting"
*9/11 Commissioner Max Cleland resigned from the Commission, stating: "It is a national scandal"; "This investigation is now compromised"; and "One of these days we will have to get the full story because the 9-11 issue is so important to America. But this White House wants to cover it up". When asked in 2009 if he thought there should be another 9/11 commission, Cleland responded: "There should be about fifteen 9/11 commissions"
*The Senior Counsel to the 9/11Commission (John Farmer) – who led the 9/11 staff's inquiry – said "At some level of the government, at some point in time…there was an agreement not to tell the truth about what happened". He also said "I was shocked at how different the truth was from the way it was described …. The tapes told a radically different story from what had been told to us and the public for two years…. This is not spin. This is not true."
*No wonder the Co-Chair of the congressional investigation into 9/11– Bob Graham – and 9/11Commissioner and former Senator Bob Kerrey are calling for either a "PERMANENT 9/11 commission" or a new 9/11 investigation to get to the bottom of it.

Nullification News: 12 State Bills Pass, 2 More Signed into Law

Governors in both Wyoming and Arkansas this week signed bills known as the "Right to Try Act." 7 states have now passed these laws that allow terminally-ill patients to use investigational drugs not permitted by the FDA. Similar bills passed the Oklahoma House 96-0, and both houses in Montana and Mississippi.
In Arizona, a bill to block enforcement of any new federal gun control measure was passed by the state Senate, while a similar bill passed both Houses in Montana and is off to the Governor's desk.
The New Hampshire House passed a bill to legalize hemp farming, essentially treating the plant like other agricultural products.

Greenwald to publish list of U.S. citizens NSA spied on

--"One of the big questions when [it] comes to domestic spying is, 'Who have been the NSA's specific targets?' Are they political critics and dissidents and activists? Are they genuinely people we'd regard as terrorists? What are the metrics and calculations that go into choosing those targets and what is done with the surveillance that is conducted? Those are the kinds of questions that I want to still answer," Mr. Greenwald told The Sunday Times of London.
Mr. Greenwald also pointed to the failures of the NSA to catch Mr. Snowden during his download and theft of 1.7 million documents, and said that's further evidence of the government's inability to guarantee data security.

MAJOR SURVEY FINDS RECORD LOW CONFIDENCE IN GOVERNMENT

The 2014 General Social Survey finds only 23 percent of Americans have a great deal of confidence in the Supreme Court, 11 percent in the executive branch and 5 percent in Congress.
--POOR MARKS FOR MEDIA, TOO
Confidence has decreased since the 1970s, when about a quarter of Americans expressed a great deal of confidence in the press. Now, a record low of 7 percent have a lot of confidence, while 44 percent have hardly any confidence at all.

Truth in Media: The Origin of ISIS (Video)

--In September 2013, American media outlets began reporting that weapons were being given to Syrian rebels. CNN reported that while the weapons are not "American-made," they were "funded and organized by the CIA."
However, Swann said that things began to fall apart when less than one year after the U.S. supplied Syrian "freedom fighters" with weapons, those weapons ended up in the hands of ISIS fighters.
Those ISIS fighters came from the group McCain insisted would help the U.S. overthrow Assad: the Free Syrian Army. Swann explained that the army was not only sending the Islamic State weapons, it was also sending them fighters.
--Americans should also be asking, "Why is the U.S. sending $500 million to the Free Syrian Army to fight ISIS when the FSA is one of the biggest suppliers of fighters and weapons to ISIS?" and "Why are we sending new and more powerful weapons to the FSA like anti-aircraft missiles – weapons that we know will be in the hands of ISIS?"
Swann maintained that while the mainstream media will say that ISIS is the "creation of American inaction," the reality is that they are the "product of direct action."
