Monsanto Profits Fall Another 15% In April
Source: NaturalSociety.com
Monsanto is continuing to lose profits into the second quarter of 2015, shedding an exceptional 15% profit amid falling GMO seed sales — even more than most experts projected.
In fact, many backers were absolutely certain that Monsanto would regain its footing after losing millions in last year's fourth quarter. Some economists believed that Monsanto's 'tried and true' strategy of pushing GMO seeds on farmers would sustain them into the first quarter of 2015. Before the latest announcement of financial loss, I predicted that Monsanto would in fact continue to lose money, as both the agricultural industry and consumers at large take a major stand against anything to do with the company:

Comedian John Oliver Interviews Edward Snowden (Video)
Source: HBO - YouTube
There are very few government checks on what America's sweeping surveillance programs are capable of doing. John Oliver sits down with Edward Snowden to discuss the NSA, the balance between privacy and security, and dick-pics.
Watch video at: https://youtu.be/XEVlyP4_11M?t=10m33s
COMMENT: I set the video above to skip the first 10.5 minutes (basically just Oliver introducing his audience to the "Snowden" topic with jokes mixed in). Be sure to rewind the video if you want to see the entire piece.

Untold History of the US: Bush and Obama - Age of Terror (Video)
Source: Showtime / Youtube
The meaning of events up to today. Obama and the destiny of the American Empire. Directed and narrated by Oliver Stone.
Watch video at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F6TGkpi_vVE
COMMENT: Editor's note: As of this post, I've only watched episode #10 entitled: "Bush & Obama: Age of Terror." It definitely presents a lot of really disturbing facts that are worth revisiting. The documentary makes the common mistake of blaming too much on "Bush and Obama" (two puppets beholden to their "advisers") and it repeats some commonly accepted, but almost certainly untrue, narratives like "Bin Laden was killed and dumped in the ocean," but it's still worth watching.
I do plan on checking out the other episodes. If you'd like to do the same, and if you'd like to make sure the creators are compensated for their work, the entire series is available at Amazon (links below).

Feds Finally Find Real Crime in Silk Road Case: Its Agents Stealing Bitcoin
Source: Reason.com
--Force is accused of extorting bitcoin from "Dread Pirate Roberts," the pseudonymous operator of Silk Road, under various fake identities, and keeping bitcoin delivered to him in his capacity as undercover agent rather than turning them over to the government.
He is also accused of working as a compliance officer for a bitcoin exchange called CoinMKT (while still working as a DEA agent) and in that capacity stealing $297,000 worth of bitcoin from a client of CoinMKT. He is also accused of falsely using a supervisor's signature stamp to direct a payments company that had frozen Force's own account for suspicious activity to undo that freeze, while ordering that company to not independently inquire to the DEA on the matter and trying to bury the paper trail.
