COMMENT: Royal Raymond Rife discovered this back in the 1930's. The medical establishment viciously attacked / destroyed him. Guess we'll find out, having less control over information today, if they can suppress these recent findings for another 80+ years.

7 Childhood Activities that Can Make You Healthier and Happier
Source: MarksDailyApple.com
As adults we adopt so many "filters" that in various ways sift or dilute or distort our experience of ourselves – let alone our apprehension of the people and events around us. We put down enjoyments to make room for additional responsibilities. We deny ourselves even basic needs (like sleep) in the name of abstract obligations or societal values. Over time, we buy into this skewed definition of what constitutes the "real world" – and end up diminishing our real well-being as a result. Maybe adulthood – and health – don't need to be so straight-laced and confining as we too often characterize them.
I recently linked to a couple of articles on this general subject that caught my eye – research that linked typical childhood activities (for adults) with health benefits. (Just when our parents thought we were wasting time or getting into trouble…) As we head into the final weeks of summer, I thought it was a good opportunity to talk about how acting like we did all those years (or decades ago) can take our Primal living and inclusive health to a new level.

Your chance to read a secret Pentagon document
Source: DownsizeDC.com
You're about to read excerpts from a formerly secret Pentagon document. This document is an analysis created by the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA). It dates from August 12, 2012, long before ISIS became a major news story. The document was obtained in a Freedom of Information Request by Judicial Watch, a conservative organization. Judicial Watch has used this document to criticize Hillary Clinton's handling of the Benghazi embassy controversy. But it's real value lies elsewhere.
This document shows that the U.S. and its allies have supported Al-Qaeda associated elements in Syria, even though they knew this would lead to the rise of ISIS and the creation of an Islamic State in Syria.

COMMENT: I would add that US aid to "ISIS" also keeps the "war on terror" meme rolling along. It "justifies" the illegal / unconstitutional expansion of government power at home, while maintaining the pretext for continued intervention in the Persian Gulf. This quote from PNAC in 2000 (taken from "Rebuilding America's Defenses") provides further insight:
"In the Persian Gulf region, the presence of American forces, along with British and French units, has become a semipermanent fact of life.
Though the immediate mission of those forces is to enforce the no-fly zones over northern and southern Iraq, they represent the long-term commitment of the United States and its major allies to a region of vital importance. Indeed, the United States has for decades sought to play a more permanent role in Gulf regional security.
While the unresolved conflict with Iraq provides the immediate justification, the need for a substantial American force presence in the Gulf transcends the issue of the regime of Saddam Hussein."

Using the Media to Manipulate the Masses (Video)
Source: TED
Veteran investigative journalist Sharyl Attkisson shows how astroturf, or fake grassroots movements funded by political, corporate, or other special interests use manufactured consensus to manipulate you.
"Astroturf" is when political, corporate, or other special interests disguise themselves. [They] publish blogs, start Facebook and Twitter accounts, publish ads and letters to the editor, or simply post comments online to try to fool you into thinking an independent or "grass roots" movement is speaking. The whole point of astroturf is to try to give the impression there's widespread support, for or against an agenda, when there's not. Astroturf seeks to manipulate you into changing your opinion by making you feel as if you're an outlier...Astroturfers seek to controversialize those who disagree with them. They attack news organizations that publish stories they don't like, whistleblowers who tell the truth, politicians who dare to ask the tough questions, and journalists who have the audacity to report on all of it."

Startups Vie to Build an Uber for Health Care
Source: WSJ.com
Darren Gold had a stomach virus the first time he used an app called Heal to summon a doctor to his Beverly Hills home. He liked the Stanford-trained doctor who showed up so much that he called Heal again when his 2-year-old son had a fever, and again when the whole family had colds.
The charges—$99 each for the first two visits; $200 for the family—weren't covered by insurance, but Mr. Gold, who owns a corrugated-box company, says that was still a bargain compared with taking time off work to go to the doctor. "Now, whenever my son bumps himself, he says, 'Daddy, we need to get the doctor here,' " Mr. Gold says.
Heal is one of several startups putting a high-tech spin on old-fashioned house calls—or "in-person visits," since they can take place anywhere. The services provide a range of nonemergency medical care—from giving flu shots to treating strep throats and stitching lacerations—much like a mobile urgent-care clinic.

Stefan Molyneux on Socialism and Bernie Sanders (Video)
Source: YouTube.com
Sanders has amassed considerable grassroots support relative to democratic frontrunner Hilary Clinton and is incredibly popular for his opposition to income inequality.
Promising to fight for a "progressive economic agenda that creates jobs, raises wages, protects the environment and provides health care for all," the Senator is a formidable candidate in the democratic presidential primary.
