Final School of 2015:

What you'll need and Contact details for The CLS.

IMPORTANT:  We have just nine (9) places left for the Final School of 2015. We are devising this as a "Mock Court" scenario. Each attendee will be issued with relevant paperwork (via email), a week or two prior to the School. Each attendee in turn will be asked to present their case to the said Court.

TAKE NOTE: For those of you who/m have already and or will book a place with another, you will need to send us, your partners/friends name and email address, so we can send them their own individual paperwork to prepare for Court.

On the day; the Court and the stand in Judge/Registrar and/or Plaintiff will be robust and adversarial, so be forthright and clear as the Defendant. Critically listen to the other cases that are going on, as this may also prove to be a great learning tool. Take clear precise notes and record of what is going on.

Some, but not all of you (of course), will have been before a Court as Defendants/Accused, so the stand in Judge/Registrar and/or Plaintiff will have very high expectations of your conduct and behavior. Do not let them down.

Time will be set aside to review, analyse and/or critique how you as Defendants did. This too is an opportunity to learn more about what went on, and how improvements can be made.

There is a lot of admin. involved in this School, and therefore the booking page will be closed on the Friday (4th. December 2015), before the School itself. We are not facilitated to take People on the day without a pre-booking. No pre-booking, means no access, and no exceptions.

As a side note: We have been reliably informed that "The Law Society of Ireland" have been instructing and advising their club members (Solicitors), how best to handle Lay Litigants in Court, and how to get cases closed out as quickly as possible for their clients (the Banks etc.).

In most if not all cases, Lay Litigants are giving evidence against themselves, and the Solicitors/Banks have been and are being aided and abetted by the Courts/Judges, by asking certain key incriminating questions. These questions; how to address them, and how not give evidence against yourself, will be addressed at the School on the day.

This School has been requested time and time again, and now that 2015 has proven to be such a successful year for People we work with, it's at a stage where we have demonstrable material, that if applied in the correct manner, will work in and with the Courts.

Once again, this is NOT a Silver Bullet, with study come knowledge and with practice comes confidence. The two combined make up a pretty powerful combination, that's extremely difficult to defeat.

Land Line Contact for The CLS:

Some of ye may already know or be aware that we have a Land Line Number open to take short/brief calls and/or enquiries to The Common Law Society. To date, we have not widely announced this, as we have in the past, been bombarded with calls that have no bearing or relevance to the work and research we carry out. The Land Line is presently open on Wednesdays and Thursdays ONLY from 10.30am to 12pm.

This is usually a very busy line, and is intended for general enquiries ONLY. We will try to give callers some general and very quick guidance on where they may go next to assist them in dealing with problems etc., We cannot stay on the line to discuss issues/matters in any great detail. Aside from that, an open telephone line is not always the most appropriate format to discuss/review certain problems that People may be facing. So please make calls quick and to the point.

The Land Line Number again, is open on Wednesdays and Thursdays ONLY, from 10.30am to 12PM. The Land Line Number is: 057 8688 410
