Drone Pilots Expose Murder, Feds Freeze their Credit Cards and Bank Accounts
Source: TheFreeThoughtProject.com
--"We are former Air Force service members," the letter begins. We joined the Air Force to protect American lives and to protect our Constitution. We came to the realization that the innocent civilians we were killing only fueled the feelings of hatred that ignited terrorism and groups like ISIS, while also serving as a fundamental recruiting tool similar to Guantanamo Bay. This administration and its predecessors have built a drone program that is one of the most devastating driving forces for terrorism and destabilization around the world."
Elsewhere the former drone operators have described how their colleagues dismissed children as "fun-sized terrorists" and compared killing them to "cutting the grass before it grows too long." Children who live in countries targeted by the drone program are in a state of constant terror, according to Westmoreland: "There are 15-year-olds growing up who have not lived a day without drones overhead, but you also have expats who are watching what's going on in their home countries and seeing regularly the violations that are happening there, and that is something that could radicalize them."
By reliable estimates, ninety percent of those killed in drone strikes are entirely harmless people, making the program a singularly effective method of producing anti-American terrorism. "We kill four and create ten," Bryant said during a November 19 press conference, referring to potential terrorists. "If you kill someone's father, uncle or brother who had nothing to do with anything, their families are going to want revenge."

Human Resources: Social Engineering in the 20th Century (Video)

"Brilliant…Riveting…The amount of material the filmmaker covers and unifies is astounding…Human Resources diagnoses the 20th century."

COMMENT: Get past a few misguided swipes at "capitalism" and "free markets" (neither of which actually exist in the US), and you'll gain some exceptionally disturbing insight into how the elite view the masses...as lab rats to be socially engineered.
If you don't have two hours, watch it in parts. (I broke the documentary down into a few sittings.) It's worth the investment.
Hat tip to David Brown at ClearNfo.com for digging this one up.

Cops Now Take More Than Robbers
Source: Reason.com
--An economic consulting firm reported on data last week showing that the approximately $4.5 billion in annual forfeitures now exceeds the $3.9 billion Americans lose in robberies each year. The clear point: Your local police or sheriff's department is more likely to take your stuff than a robber. The Institute for Justice report found the problem getting worse. "It's exploding, despite the fact that the issue is getting a lot of attention," said Dick Carpenter, one of the study's authors. According to the report, forfeiture revenues have more than doubled between 2002 to 2013. California agencies collected approximately $280 million over the 11-year study period—and an additional $696 million by partnering with federal agencies.
These are big dollars to local police departments, which explains the arm-twisting and lobbying as that reform bill made it to the Assembly floor. Critics of asset forfeiture agree that agencies will lose money, but argue that the government is supposed to promote justice. Their agencies should be funded through general tax proceeds, not by grabbing the homes and cars of people who may not have done anything wrong.

COMMENT: From the Institute for Justice study (cited in article above)
"Civil forfeiture far outpaces criminal forfeiture.
Criminal forfeiture requires a criminal conviction to deprive people of their property. By contrast, civil forfeiture allows law enforcement to take property from innocent people never convicted of or even charged with a crime, making it easier for the government to forfeit property and harder for property owners to fight back.
*Just 13 percent of Department of Justice forfeitures from 1997 to 2013 were criminal forfeitures; 87 percent were civil forfeitures.
*Among DOJ civil forfeitures, 88 percent took place "administratively." Administrative forfeitures happen automatically when a property owner fails to challenge a seizure in court for any reason, including the inability to afford a lawyer or a missed deadline to file a claim. The seized property is simply presumed "guilty" without a neutral arbiter such as a judge determining whether it should be permanently taken from its owner."

Syrian President, Al-Assad, Interview
Source: GlobalResearch.ca
--President Assad: ...many countries, in the West, in our region, they don't have any interest in any political solution. They only believe in supporting terrorists in order to topple the government and to have political collapse in Syria. So, they want it to drag on. But if you ask me, I mean if you don't have that support, in less than one year you can change the situation and you can defeat the terrorists and you can start this process.
--Question 28: So, you see Mr. President, this summer we have seen a heartbreaking photo about the dead body of a Syrian boy, a young boy found at a Greek beach. Have you seen that photo yourself? And what did you feel when you first saw it? And you see, now the refugee crisis is a big problem to a lot of European countries, and some say that the Syrian government is to be blamed on this. What do you think?
President Assad: Actually, I saw that photo, but we saw so many other photos, so you cannot feel the whole crisis through one picture, because we live in this crisis, we live with the bloodletting by the terrorists on daily basis. So we feel the sadness on daily basis. But that photo was used as propaganda by the West, and unfortunately in a very horrible way, because there are two reasons why those refugees left Syria: part of them left because of the dire threats by the terrorists themselves, they left their areas – of course, some of them left to government areas, and some of them left outside Syria, and the other part left because of the Western embargo, not because only of the terrorism and its influence, because of the Western embargo that influenced everything; the education, the health sector more than any other thing, and the basics of the daily living. So the problem of the West when they use that photo as propaganda to show their compassion with the Syrian people, is
that this West, as a double standard as always, they offer the Syrian people with one hand, let's say, a dish of food, and with the other hand a bomb. That's the reality, because they supported the terrorists, those people and this boy and other boys and other children suffered and died and are being killed because of the Western policies in this world, in this region, and mainly inside Syria.

How the West Fuelled the Rise of ISIS
Source: TheGuardian.com
--On Monday the trial in London of a Swedish man, Bherlin Gildo, accused of terrorism in Syria, collapsed after it became clear British intelligence had been arming the same rebel groups the defendant was charged with supporting.
The prosecution abandoned the case, apparently to avoid embarrassing the intelligence services. The defence argued that going ahead with the trial would have been an "affront to justice" when there was plenty of evidence the British state was itself providing "extensive support" to the armed Syrian opposition.

Flashback: The Pre-911 Plan to Destabilize the Middle East (Video)

COMMENT: ...Could have done without the jarring sound effects, but worth watching nonetheless.
With regard to Iraq, this from the PNAC policy paper "Rebuilding America's Defenses," written 1 year PRIOR to the 9/11 attacks:
"In the Persian Gulf region, the presence of American forces, along with British and French units, has become a semipermanent fact of life.
"Though the immediate mission of those forces is to enforce the no-fly zones over northern and southern Iraq, they represent the long-term commitment of the United States and its major allies to a region of vital importance. Indeed, the United States has for decades sought to play a more permanent role in Gulf regional security.
"While the unresolved conflict with Iraq provides the immediate justification, the need for a substantial American force presence in the Gulf transcends the issue of the regime of Saddam Hussein."
